Pre-Treatment Advice
- advise your client not to exfoliate the day before, the day of, or the day after treatment
- best to not tan prior to treatment, the skin might be burnt, irritated, or extra sensitive
- refrain from exercise prior to treatment and avoid applying creams or lotions no earlier than 24 hours prior to the service
- do not schedule treatments during times when your client is on antibiotics, or sick from a virus; also avoid treatments that coincide with their menstrual cycle
- avoid using razors or depilatory creams between treatments
- keep the skin clean and hydrated
- hair as short as 1/16″ sugared on a regular basis can lead to permanent hair removal
- client should avoid exposing the treated area to the sun or infrared lamps for at least 24 hours
- avoid perfume soaps or any chemical irritants for at least 12 hours
